Bridgette "Bri" Wilson

Bridgette “Bri” Rene Wilson, 48, a beloved, tender-hearted spirit, of Osburn, Idaho, left this world surrounded by  love and entered into Jesus’ loving hands at the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho on March 20, 2018. She was born December 8, 1969, in Fresno, California to Julie Wilson-Robbins, Randall Harron (Dad by choice) deceased and J.D. Robbins (Pop by choice) deceased. Bridgette grew up in Fresno, California. After high school graduation, she went to work as a Junior Architect for CYP, Inc. in Anaheim, California. She lived with her mom, Julie. Bri was diagnosed, in November 2017, with Stage 4 lung cancer, which spread to her bones. Her doctors stated it was due to smoking. Bridgette wants to spread the message to all people, but especially young people, please don’t smoke, and if you do, quit now.

Bri was the Wilson-Stacy family historian and discovered over 25 past generations. As a member of Ancestry.com for 11 years, and Findagrave.com for 10 years,  she also helped many friends find their ancestors. She served as Conductress in the Ladies Auxiliary VFW 1675 of Osburn. Bri was also Mrs. VFW, for the Loyalty Day parade in 2012. She helped with many projects and fundraisers, using her computer skills to create posters ad spent many hours sitting outside of businesses collecting for VFW Poppy donations to help disabled Veterans, she was very patriotic. She made friends easily and helped with many aspects of her mom’s many other volunteer organizations. She was a devout member of Church of God, in Wallace, Idaho.

Bri, as she liked to be called, is survived  by her mother, Julie Robbins of Osburn; one brother, Anthony Harron (fiancée Robin) of Fresno, California; one niece, Secily (Hector) Jimenez; one great niece, Rosemary Ann Jimenez, all of Fresno; Aunt Wanda (Bill) Maple, Aunt Mary Holt, Uncle Ron (Anita) Wilson, Aunt Sharon Ellis, Uncle Bobby J (Donna) Bolden Sr., and Uncle Jerry (Glynda) Bolden. She is also survived by Best Cousin BFFCS- Crissy Worley, Special Cousin Kathy Lamoreaux, as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and many extended family members including her Aunties by choice: Evymay, Ester, Jeanie and her Uncle by choice, Blake. She also leaves behind her forever friend and pal, Emotional Support Dog, Alfie. Bridgette was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Vernie Wilson and Anthony and Joan Harron.

Bri was always positive and had the most beautiful smile. She had a great sense of humor and  loved all types of music, children and animals.

Julie would like to thank everyone for the prayers, well wishes and support. She would also like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff, at Kootenai Cancer Center, for their loving care while Bri was a patient there. Julie would also like to thank District Q.R.U., and all the nurses and staff at Shoshone Medical Center - especially RN Teirza and Hospice of North Idaho for making Bri comfortable in her last hours.

Bri was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be very much missed. “We will see you again ‘Baby Girl‘. Love you, MOM.”

A Celebration of Bridgette’s Life will be held on  Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at the Wallace Church of God, with Pastor Joe Clower presiding. All are invited to a potluck in the fellowship hall after the service.
