William Hahn

Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, William “Billy“ Hahn, of Cataldo, Idaho, passed away March 3, 2015 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d‘Alene with his wife, Tami by his side. He was born August 4, 1944 in Auburn, Washington; Billy was the son of William A. and Margery L. (Marcotte) Hahn.

Billy was raised in Blackcloud, Idaho. He entered the United States Marine Corps in 1961 and served honorably for four years.

He worked in several mines in the Wallace-Kellogg area including the Obayashi as a safety man on three tunnels. Billy made many long lasting friends on these ventures.

Billy is survived by his wife Tami of the family home in Cataldo, Idaho; two sons, Thomas Hahn of San Diego, California and Lee Hahn of Oahu, Hawaii; two sisters, Margie Becker of Calder, Idaho and Patty Rishew of Mullan, Idaho. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

A celebration and potluck will be held on April 11th, 4pm at Croaker’s Saloon in Kingston.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to Kootenai Humane Society, 11650 N. Ramsey Road, Hayden, Idaho 83835.
