Beloved son, grandson, brother and uncle William Luther Fannan of Kingston, Idaho passed away on August 24, 2015 at his home in Kingston. He was born April 9, 1984 in Kellogg, Idaho; William was the son of William “Frank” Franklin and Bonnie Kay (Hansen) Fannan.
William grew up, and attended schools in the Silver Valley and lived here all his life.
William worked at the Galena Mine and later at the Sunshine Mine. He loved working at the Sunshine Mine and made several close friends during his time there; a time cut short by a terrible motor vehicle accident several years ago. William’s life was never the same after this accident that nearly took his life.
William was a very kind, courteous and friendly person; he never met a stranger. He was a strong willed man who enjoyed hiking, walking his beloved dogs, listening to music and playing guitar. William also loved spending time with his many friends and his family.
William is survived by his parents, Frank and Bonnie Fannan of Kingston; grandmothers Mary Fannan of Pinehurst and Theresa Hill of Kellogg; brothers Jesse Fannan of Kingston and Wes (Melissa) Hill of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister Corinna (Brock) Waldo of Pinehurst; and his cousin with whom he was very close, Randy Curl of Hayden. William is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers William Fannan and Ole Hansen, and his brother Jeremy Hill.
Cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
