Vicki Mitchell

Beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Vicki Lee Mitchell of Kellogg, Idaho was called home by the Lord on December 26, 2015 at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. She was born January 10, 1949 in Kellogg; Vicki was the daughter of Kenneth and Maxine (Wallender) Johnson.

Vicki grew up and lived in Kellogg all of her life.

Vicki was united in marriage to William Mitchell on March 12, 1969 in Coeur d’ Alene.

She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Kellogg.

Vicki was a homemaker.  She loved worshipping the Lord, with a particular interest in studying the Book of Revelations. Vicki loved her family and being the best homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and BFF to her granddaughter. She also enjoyed bowling for years, and playing cards with the family.

Vicki will be deeply missed and is survived by her mother, Maxine Johnson of Kellogg; her daughter, Traci Mitchell Lambert of Grand Junction, Colorado; her brother, Robert (Lynda) Johnson of Smelterville; her sisters Sue Clapp of Kellogg and Bonnie Johnson of Moses Lake, Washington; her sister-in-law Shirley Gonzales of San Jose, California; her grandson Kenneth (Yadi) Mitchell of Winnemucca, Nevada; her granddaughter and BFF, Kelsey Lambert of Coeur d’Alene; and her great-granddaughter Memphis Wright of Winnemucca. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Vicki is preceded in death by her father, Ken Johnson; her husband and the love of her life William Mitchell; and her brother-in-law Dennis Clapp.

Cremation will take place and no services are schedule at this time.
