Vicki Johnson

Vicki B. Johnson, 77, of Kellogg, Idaho passed away January 1, 2016 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho. Vicki was born October 20, 1938 in Helena, Montana. She was the daughter of Victor and Le Jeune (Shelley) Sweeney. From early childhood she was raised by the Louis and Bennie Baker family.

Vicki grew up and attended school in Lewistown, Montana. She moved to the Silver Valley from Lewistown in 1992. She worked as a housekeeper at a retirement home and also had spent time working as a waitress and cashier.

Vicki married John Stanley in 1961 and together they raised five children, Larry, Mike, Thea, Jason and her niece, Ann. They later divorced. She married Kenny Johnson in 1977.

In earlier years Vicki loved living in the outdoors with her husband Kenny. She later enjoyed watching TV, reading and being with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Eagle’s Auxiliary Club.

Vicki is survived by her three children, Larry (Maria) Stanley of Gilbert, Arizona, Thea (Bill) Jackson of Pinehurst, Idaho, and Jason Stanley of Lewistown, Montana; niece Ann (Floyd) Hasler of Lewistown, Montana; one sister, Susan Davy of Missoula, Montana; nine grandchildren, Justin and Joshua Stanley and Zachary Boncella, Karlee and Megan Stanley, Curtis and Zane Jackson, and Dominique and Azalea Basiro. She is also survived by five great grandchildren. Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her son Michael Stanley, her brother Scott Lucero and her sister Shelly Lucero.

Vicki’s strong personality and outspoken nature will be missed. While she always had the right to remain silent, she often lacked the ability.

Cremation will take place and private family services at the family homestead in Clancy, Montana are planned for a later date.
