Shannon Wheeler

Beloved son, brother, father, grandson and uncle, Shannon Douglas Wheeler, 38, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away October 13, 2013 at Kellogg, Idaho. He was born March 31, 1975 at Anchorage, Alaska; Shannon was the son of William Ernest Jr. and Kathleen (Harris) Wheeler.

Shannon attended and graduated from high school in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. He then attended truck driving school in Post Falls. Shannon moved to the Silver Valley in 1991 from Coeur d’ Alene.

Shannon was planning a career in truck driving. He loved and enjoyed his family, camping, fishing, motorcycles, music and tattoos.

Shannon is survived by his mother and step-father Kathy and Bill Bowlin of Smelterville; two brothers Robert Wheeler of Smelterville and David Condre of Morton, Illinois; one sister Jennifer Wheeler of Smelterville; his daughter Shae Wheeler of Coeur d’ Alene; his maternal grandparents Guy and Liela Harris of Lake Havasu, Arizona; his beloved nieces and nephews MacKenzie Basham, Katelyn, Jacob and Jaxson Croston, Shelby Wheeler, Colin Roy and Madison Easley; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and his many dear friends. Shannon was preceded in death by his father William Wheeler, Jr., his maternal grandmother Maryann Harris, his paternal grandparents William Sr. and Margaret Wheeler, one son William and his cousin Michael Wheeler.

Cremation will be held and Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg. A reception will be held at the home of Shannon’s sister, Jennifer Wheeler following services.
