Sally Lee Green, 70

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Sally Lee Green, 70, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away January 1, 2017 at her home of Pinehurst.  She was born April 17, 1946 in Sioux City, Iowa; Sally was the daughter of Harry and Pearl (Ames) Whipple.

Sally moved to the Silver Valley in June of 1995 from California.  She was united in marriage to Guy Green on July 1, 1995 in Pinehurst, Idaho.

Sally and Guy owned and operated the Pioneer Lodge of Pinehurst for twenty years.

Sally loved and enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, dogs and friends. She also enjoyed traveling.

Sally is survived by four children Vance Ellis of Smelterville, Idaho, James Ellis of Rio Vista, California, Thomas Ellis of Vacaville, California and Anita and Lisa Noland of Stow, Ohio; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers Donald Wheeler of Caldwell, Idaho, Glenn Wheeler of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister Connie Wenberg of Caldwell, Idaho; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Sally was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Guy Green who passed away in 2010 and one brother Dennis Wheeler.

Sally’s love of life, and of all her family and friends will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Sally’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. at the Pioneer Lodge of Pinehurst; please bring a dish or just bring yourself.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the charity of the Donor’s choice.
