Ruth Maria Macias, 53

Ruth Maria Macias, 53, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away March 7, 2019 at her home of Wallace.  She was born July 13, 1965 in Westminster, California; Ruth was the daughter of Louis and Mary (Hill) Schilhab.

Ruth moved to Post Falls, Idaho from California and then in 2011 she moved to the Silver Valley.

Ruth was a caregiver and had worked at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene.

Ruth loved and enjoyed her family and babysitting her grandchildren; she also enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening, aromatherapy- she had made her own soaps, lotions and body wash which she gave to family and friends as gifts; Ruth also appreciated homeopathic remedies.

Ruth is survived by three children Rebecca Butzer of Wallace, Sarah and Harrison Weaver of Post Falls, Idaho and Dianna and Joshua Hedgecoke of Wallace; three grandchildren and one on the way Emory and Eisley Weaver and Astraya Hedgecoke; her mother Mary Schilhab of Chino Valley, Arizona; two brothers Eugene Schilhab of Huntington Beach, California and David Schilhab also of Huntington Beach; one sister Rachel Culp of Arizona; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Ruth was preceded in death by her father Louis Schilhab.

Cremation will be held and private family services will be held at a later date.
