Ronald Wells Simmons 52, of Silverton, Idaho, passed away March 18, 2015 at his home in Silverton, Idaho. He was born November 24, 1962 in Lebanon, Oregon; Ronald was the son of William and Darlene (White) Simmons.
Ronald owned his own construction business and worked hard his whole life.
Ronald enjoyed fishing and writing poetry and songs. He also enjoyed mechanics, tinkering and figuring things out. Ronald had an incredible love for life and an extreme gratefulness to God for it. Humbled by the imagination that created nature, he welcomed each day looking forward to what it may bring, good or bad. Living by example, his awesome sense of humor, generosity, strength of conviction regarding family and friends, and kindness to strangers, were just a few of his ways contributing to the betterment of society and were characteristics that will be missed by all who knew him
Ronald is survived by his wife and love of fifteen years Jaymi Morrow of Silverton; two sons, Josh Simmons of Coeur d’Alene and Jon Simmons of Kellogg ; three daughters, Tracy (Brett) Skavland of Kellogg, Sky Stapel of Oregon and Stephanie Cash of Priest River; one step son David (Alyna) Morrow of Moscow; two sisters, Tammi (Donny) Smathers of Pinehurst and Terri Gallegy of Oregon; one brother Randy Simmons of Smelterville and; eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday at 7pm at the Kings Inn in Kingston.
