Ronald Rohrs

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Ronald Gene Rohrs, 67, of Kingston, Idaho, passed away October 6, 2014. He was born December 14, 1946 in Hayward, California; Ron was the son of August Eugene and Yvonne Louise (Huff) Rohrs.

Ron attended and graduated from Castro Valley High School in Castro Valley, California.

On March 17th 1984, Ron was united in marriage to Jolene Humes in Carson City, Nevada.

Ron enjoyed going fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, golfing and spending time in the great outdoors. He also was a master woodworker and built beautiful log homes. Ron loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Ron is survived by his wife, Jolene of the family home of Kingston; Five children Gene (Julie) Rohrs of Mountain Home, Idaho, Deanna (Kevin) Rohrs of Kellogg, Idaho, Pamela Rohrs of Draper, Utah, Cindy (Scott) Marker of Pinehurst, Idaho and Courtney Rohrs of San Antonio, Texas; ten grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He is also survived by two sisters Linda (Gordon) Fazzio and Pam (Sonny) Bachman, and several nieces and nephews. Ron was proceeded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held Saturday, October 11th, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Old Bumblebee Nursery. The family suggests camouflage attire be worn in Ron’s honor.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been established at U.S. Bank in Ron’s name to help with expenses.
