Ronald Lyon

Beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and nephew, Ronald “Ronnie” Bryan Lyon, 42, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away suddenly on November 8, 2015 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. He was born August 3, 1973 in Silverton, Idaho; Ronnie was the son of Ron and Becky (Howell) Lyon.

Ronnie grew up in Osburn and had attended and graduated from the Wallace High School in 1992.

Ronnie had worked in mining and had worked at the Sunshine Mine and had also mined in Nevada. He also served as a roofer.

Ronnie loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting and fishing. Ronnie was a very caring person, who would do anything for anyone in need; he had a heart of gold.

Ronnie is survived by his father Ron Lyon of Osburn, Idaho; two sisters Connie Lyon and brother-in-law Vern Cartwright of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Stacy Beard and brother-in-law Doug Beard of Osburn, Idaho; his brother Jeffery Peterson of Kellogg, Idaho; his nephews Tyler Beard, Bryan Cartwright and Brady Peterson. He also leaves behind his grandmother Helen Howell, who raised Ronnie, along with his Aunt Kathy Howell; Ronnie dedicated the last ten years of his life, taking care of his grandmother and aunt. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother Becky Lyon, his grandfather James Howell and his beloved dog Gretchen.

Ronnie will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Cremation will be held and his ashes will be placed near his mom and grandpa at Greenwood Cemetery of Kellogg. A private gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Shoshone Pet Rescue, P.O. Box 884, Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
