Beloved father, grandfather and brother, Robert Eugene Eberhard, 66, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away November 9, 2013 at his home of Pinehurst. He was born May 5, 1947 in Walden, Colorado; Robert was the son of Arthur Ray and Georgie Marie (Jones) Eberhard.
Bob attended schools in Walden Colorado and Taylor, Nebraska. He married Jessie Jimenez and to this union a son, Raymond Eugene Eberhard, was born.
Bob worked many years as a diamond driller for Connors Drilling, Boyles Brothers Drilling and Boart Longyear Drilling, traveling all over the united States including Alaska. Bob really enjoyed his time mining and was much respected in the industry.
Bob married Phyllis (Cookie) Jean Asher in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 22, 1984. They resided in Golden, Colorado until Cookie’s death in November of 2009, when Bob moved to Pinehurst, Idaho to be near his son Ray.
The past four years in Idaho brought him much happiness. Bob loved his new found family, many friends and his beloved little dog Sadie. You could see Bob and Sadie riding their Rhino all over Pinehurst and up the Coeur d’ Alene River to check on his moose up Bumblebee. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the Fields of Dreams river place. Bob loved being close to his son Ray and wife Tamie, granddaughter Aubrey and the many extended family members he became so close to.
Bob is survived by his son Ray and daughter-in-law Tamie (Lewis) Eberhard of Pinehurst, Idaho; his granddaughter Aubrey Eberhard of Osburn, Idaho; a sister Doris Graf of Casper, Wyoming. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Brian, Billy and Douglas and his sisters Pauline and Helen.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held next summer up at the Coeur d’ Alene river place.
