Our sweet mother, Patti Mae Osborne, 61, of Enaville, passed away in her sleep on February 24, 2015, with her daughter Jessica and good friend Shelley by her side. She was born October 8, 1953 in Butte, Montana; Patti was the daughter of Charles and Maizie Osborne.
Patti moved to Enaville, Idaho in 1979 from Butte, Montana and raised her five children in the same house; it has been a wonderful place to live; many memories were made over the years with the O’Neill family.
Patti held may jobs over the course of her time here. She had cleaned houses with her friend Frenchie for years; she had also served as a mail carrier, a librarian in Pinehurst and had also worked and planted trees for the Bumblebee Nursery. Patti recently retired from Chats Texaco River Mart, where she spent the last ten years building many friendships- many stopping for coffee daily just to chat with her (you know who you are).
Patti had many hobbies and things she loved and enjoyed very much over the years; her family and grandchildren- the grandchildren would often stay for sleepovers and would walk with Patti and her dog Sofi down by the river; she loved babysitting her grandson Brodie. Patti also enjoyed creating family collages, thrift store shopping and mostly gardening- if you ever had taken a drive up the Coeur d’ Alene River in the Summer, you’d see Patti working in her garden- she enjoyed this so much.
Patti is survived by five children Chad (Misty) Martin of Oak Harbor, Washington; Jason (Regina) Martin of Missoula, Montana; Jessica Frye of Enaville, Idaho; Jennifer (Josh) Medici of Sedro Woolley, Washington and Miranda (Nick) Elam of Kingston, Idaho; ten grandchildren Sam, Brock, Dayne, Anna Mae, Ryan, Cody, Tyler, Maizie, Madison and Brodie. three brothers Jimmy (Sandy) Osborne of Butte, Montana; Bill (Maureen) Osborne of Butte and Charlie (Corinne) Osborne of Butte; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her very good friend Randy. Patti had many friends that loved her dearly and she considered family. Patti was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation will be held and a family gathering will take place this Summer.
Mom was loved by so many and there will be a piece of us missing forever. She loved music and her smile was contagious. Patti was a good, genuine person who tried to help whenever she could. She spent a number of years attending the Kingdom Hall and still prayed to Jehovah everyday and loved all the wonderful friends she had over the years. The family appreciates all the cards, calls, letters and messages; they wish to thank you all for loving their mommy.
