Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Ottomar “Clint” Clinton Miner, II, passed away November 30, 2013 at the family home of Mullan. He was born August 10, 1943 in San Diego, California; Clint was the son of Ottomar Clinton and Irene Cecile (Bullan) Miner.

Clint attended and graduated from the Escondido High School of Escondido, California in 1961. He then served in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam war. While serving for our country, Clint studied college courses and after serving he attended the Palomar Community College of Escondido. Clint also served in Civil Service.

Clint married Sharon Wilkerson on September 23, 1978 at Escondido, California.

Clint was owner and operator of American Striping and Sweeping and the Night Owl Sweeping businesses of Escondido, California. While in business, Clint was a member of many community organizations and clubs of Escondido.

Clint loved and enjoyed his family, friends, home improvements and dune buggying.

Clint is survived by his beloved wife Sharon Miner of the family home of Mullan; his son Clint Miner of Escondido, California; two daughters Gail Johnson of Mohave Valley, Arizona and Julie Olkonen of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; seven grandchildren Jerrad Johnson of Gilbert, Arizona, Clinton Miner of Pensacola, Florida, Jason Johnson of Mohave Valley, Arizona, Joshua Johnson of Mohave Valley, Alek Leydsman of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Rachael Leydsman of Rio Rancho and Scott Leydsman of Denver, Colorado; two great-grandchildren Wyatt Johnson of Mohave Valley, Arizona, Dylan Johnson of Gilbert, Arizona and one great-grandson on the way; two sisters Arvilla Turrill of San Marcos, California and Loretta Darling of Phoenix, Arizona; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Clint was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Cremation was held and Private Family Services will be held at a later date.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, Idaho 83835 or to the VA Puget Sound Fisher House, 1660 S. Columbian Way, Seattle, Washington 98108.
