Myrna Marie Yount, 73, of Osburn, Idaho, went to be with her Lord on August 16, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Coeur D‘Alene. She was born August 15, 1941 in Grangeville, Idaho; Myrna was the daughter of Verdun and Lola (Smith) Davis.
Myrna grew up in the Silver Valley. She attended and graduated from the Mullan High School in 1959. She then went on to study at the Coeur D’Alene Beauty Academy, where she received her certification and beauty license.
Myrna worked at various beauty shops over the years. Her last place of employment was at the Silver Wood Good Samaritan Nursing Home, where she served as a beautician, until she retired. After retirement, Myrna spent her spare time involved in many activities.
Myrna is survived by her two sons, Brian (Teri) Yount, of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, Raymond Yount of Florence, Arizona; her sister Donna (Calvin) Walker of Wardner, Idaho. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Myrna was preceded in death by her biological father Verdun Davis, her parents Lola and Treffle Simard, her brother John Davis and a son David Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg, Idaho with Pastor Ken Bartle officiating. Following the service inurnment will take place at the Greenwood Cemetery of Kellogg.
