Beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Muriel “Prune” Elizabeth (Therien) Franck, 57, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away October 24, 2014 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was born April 19, 1957 in Sandpoint, Idaho; Prune was the daughter of Richard and Gwendolyn (Goede) Therien.
Prune attended schools in Clark Fork, Idaho. She moved to Coeur d’ Alene in 1993 from the Silver Valley.
Prune had worked at Litehouse Foods in Sandpoint for eleven years. She then served as a cook at various restaurants throughout Northern Idaho.
Prune loved and enjoyed her family and grandchildren, facebook games, words with friends, reading, the outdoors- swimming and camping; she also enjoyed cooking and baking of which family and friends enjoyed her goodies.
Prune is survived by four daughters Carman (Jack) Ryser of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Tamara Porto and fiance’ Don Reese of Sandpoint, Idaho, Alison (Justin) Hayes of Bend, Oregon and Kendra Altman and companion David Tavita of Hayden, Idaho; she is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three brothers Gus Therien of Kennewick, Washington, Bicker Therien of Weippe, Idaho and Woody Therien of Loomis, California; one sister Hazel Horn of Spokane, Washington; a special cousin Robin Hicks of Mica, Washington; a special friend Anthony Garitone of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho and several nieces and nephews. Prune was preceded in death by her parents, a baby brother Therien and her cousin Christopher Therien.
Cremation will be held and A Celebration of Prune’s Life will be held in the Summer of 2015.
