Michael Stanley

Michael “Mike” Lane Stanley, 51, of Smelterville, Idaho, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 18, 2014 at his home of Smelterville. He was born July 12, 1963 in Lewistown, Montana; Mike was the son of John and Vicki (Lucero) Stanley.

Mike attended and graduated from the Grass Range High School of Grass Range, Montana in 1983.

Mike moved to the Silver Valley in 1990 from Montana. He had worked in the mill at the Galena Mine.

Mike enjoyed spending his free time four-wheeling, traveling, and collecting die-cast model cars. He loved most of all spending time with his family and friends.

Mike is survived by two daughters; Karlee Stanley (Chad Weeks) of Page, Idaho and Megan Stanley, of Smelterville; two granddaughters Maddie Jo and Hudson Grace, a baby girl on the way; his mother Vicki Johnson, of Kellogg, Idaho; two sisters Thea (Bill) Jackson, of Pinehurst and Annie (Floyd) Hasler, of Lewistown, Montana; two brothers Larry (Maria) Stanley, of Gilbert, Arizona and Jason Stanley, of Lewistown, Montana. Mike is also survived by his nieces and nephews Zane Jackson, Justin Stanley, Josh Stanley, Dominique Briseno and Azela Briseno. Mike was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 2:00 P.M at the Cloyd Funeral Home of Lewistown, Montana.
