Marsha Lee Prichard, 62
Marsha Lee Prichard, 62, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away June 8, 2022 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene. She was born August 8, 1959 in Fresno, California; Marsha was the daughter of Elsie Rex and Lenna Mae (Baker) Haynes.
Marsha attended and graduated from the Abilene High School of Abilene, Texas. She was united in marriage to Daniel “Dan” J. Prichard on July 2, 1974 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Dan served in the U.S. Air Force, which enabled them to travel all over the world, they resided in Germany for ten years.
Marsha had served as a realtor in the Mountain Home, Idaho area and Dan and her built homes throughout the Treasure Valley, in Southern Idaho. When moving to the Portland, Oregon area, Marsha and Dan owned and operated a German Food Truck and had served for special events. She also was the Power Grid Project Manager for Portland General Electric. Marsha then retired due to health reasons. Dan and Marsha moved to the Silver Valley in 2020 from Portland.
Marsha loved and enjoyed crafts and was owner and operator of Silver Valley Metal Craft; she also enjoyed gardening, genealogy and was an excellent cook.
Marsha is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Dan Prichard of the family home of Wallace; one daughter Melinda Lee and husband Chris Petersen of Milwaukie, Oregon; one son Christopher Prichard of Wallace; a granddaughter Emma Lee Petersen; one brother Kenneth Haynes of Fresno, California; one sister Judith Hebert also of Fresno; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Rex Haynes.
A Celebration of Marsha’s Life will be held in Portland, Oregon.
Marsha was a very giving person, had a heart of gold and saw the good in everyone.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Research.
