Marlene Erickson

February 20, 1934 — July 31, 2017

Marlene Phoebe Erickson, 83, of Mullan, Idaho, passed away July 31, 2017 at the Schniedmiller House in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.  She was born on February 20, 1934 in Kellogg, Idaho; Marlene was the daughter of Charlie and Fannie Maki.

Marlene grew up in the Silver Valley and graduated from Mullan High School. She was united in marriage to Leroy “Don” Erickson on October 13, 1956 in Mullan, Idaho. Marlene worked as a Dental Assistant and a Homemaker.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church and a pinochle club. Marlene enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with family and friends at the family cabin “River Roost”. Marlene loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Donny Erickson of Murray; her granddaughters RayAnn (Jim) Davis of Mullan and Tasha (Randy Auger) Erickson of Haugen, Montana; her great-grandchildren Jaxi-Ann, Huntlee, Piper, Ryker, Brogan and Porter Davis; and her daughter-in-law Corlina Capparelli. Marlene is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don, and her son Johnny Erickson.

The family is planning an Erickson Family reunion that will also include a celebration of life for Don and Marlene; date, time and location will be announced.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations in Marlene’s honor can be make to The Schniedmiller House, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, Idaho 83835 or the Mullan Fire Department, P.O. Box 422, Mullan, Idaho 83846.
