Mark Kenneth Arnold, 54
Beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Mark Kenneth Arnold, 54, of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, passed away May 10, 2017 from a tragic accident, while in his favorite place on earth doing what he loved. He was born April 3, 1963 in Kellogg, Idaho; Mark was the son of Waltraut (Brassat) and the late Kenneth Arnold.
Mark was raised in the Silver Valley and graduated from the Kellogg High School in 1981
Mark was very passionate about life. He loved to fish with his nephew, Scott. Mark loved hunting with his brothers, nephews and friends. He carved beautiful walking sticks. Mark also enjoyed photography and saw the most amazing pictures in what most of us just walked by. Like his father, he also enjoyed cooking. Mark loved his family, friends and the outdoors; but he especially adored his daughter, Lainey. Mark was a loving father to Lainey and Lainey wishes every father could be like hers; he was a big influence and a best friend.
Mark had worked at the Coeur d’ Alene Casino of Worley, Idaho.
Mark is survived by his mother Waltraut Johnson of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; his daughter Lainey Arnold of Cedar Springs, Michigan; his brothers Harry and Connie Arnold of Post Falls, Idaho, Anthony Arnold of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, and Steve and Mona Arnold of Washington State; his sisters Dannie and Fran Giovanelli of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Pam and Rodney Waller of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho and Sharon Costa of California; his nephews Derek and Anisa Arnold, Scott Arnold, Ryan and Molly Waller, Aaron Waller and Matt Giovanelli; his nieces Andrea and Diarra Giovanelli, Gipson and Lindsey Arnold; his beloved friends Curtis Morrison and the Davis family. Mark was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Arnold.
A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Hampton Inn, 1500 Riverstone Drive, Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; everyone is welcome.
Mark’s family wishes to sincerely thank the search and rescue team members, friends and family for their tireless search efforts.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Donor’s local Search and Rescue Teams.
