Marjorie May Gust, 89, of Osburn, ID, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on November 23, 2024 at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg, ID. Marjorie was born on April 4, 1935 in Miles City, MT, a daughter of the late Carl and Betty (Algee) Miller.
Marjorie’s family relocated to the Silver Valley where Marjorie attended schools in Wallace. She married Inman Gust on February 7, 1959. Inman passed away in 2011. Marjorie was the head housekeeper for the former East Shoshone Hospital. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Marjorie loved tending to her flower gardens, going on road trips, and going shopping with her two daughters.
In addition to her beloved husband, Inman, and her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her son, Gary Lee Gust, and three sisters, Uarda, Hazel, and Ruth.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Robert Gust of Lake Bay, WA; her two daughters, Deborah (Chris) Cook of Osburn, ID, and Lena (Kim) Dolezsar of Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; six grandchildren, Nathan Cook, Kidman Cook, Reece Dolezsar, Quinn Dolezsar, Gary Gust, and Johnathan Gust; and five great-grandchildren, Cali, Addi, Jackson, Madilynn, and Blakely. She is also survived by countless friends she had made over the years as well as her canine companion, Noodles.
At Marjorie’s request, no services will be held.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all Marjorie’s angels that were there for her as well as her friends and church family; a special thank you to Dr. Branz, Kim, Katrena, and the excellent staff of Shoshone Medical Center; all whom provided excellent care for Marjorie. Your care and concern for Marjorie and her family will never be forgotten.
