Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, M. Diane Henry, 72, of Cataldo, Idaho, passed away February 20, 2014 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was born January 19, 1942 in Long Beach, California; Diane was the daughter of Robert Kilmer and Margorie Diane (Guerin) Tracy.
Diane attended and graduated from the Claremont High School of Claremont, California. She then attended Georgia Tech College of Georgia.
Diane had first worked for Ford Aviation Aeroneutronics of California. She then served as a supervisor for Neiman Marcus at Fashion Island of Newport Beach, California and the Neiman Marcus at the Stanford Center in Palo Alto, California. After moving to the Coeur d’ Alene area, Diane served as storage manager of Parkwood Properties of Coeur d’ Alene and she then went to work for the Deli Department of the Safeway Grocery store of Coeur d’ Alene.
Diane moved to the Silver Valley in 1995 from Hayden Lake.
Diane first married Monte Sweisberger in 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada; they later divorced. She then married Kenneth Henry on December 10, 1995 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.
Diane owned and operated her own engraving business from 1996-1998. She loved and enjoyed engraving, flower gardening and old classic movies.
Diane is survived by her beloved husband Kenneth Henry of the family home of Cataldo; four children Sara Heiliger of Elkhart, Indiana, Kathy (Kevin) Getz of Spokane, Washington, J.T. Keith of Elkhart, Indiana and Kenny (Marilee) Henry of Post Falls, Idaho; she is also survived by eight grandchildren. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother Gale Miller of Hayden Lake.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg.
