Lucille McCombs

Lucille McCombs, 89, of Post Falls, ID, passed away early afternoon on May 12, 2024, surrounded by loved ones on her journey to meet The Lord.  

Lucille was born on November 16, 1934 to W. Lindsay and Esther Hunter in Pine Creek, ID. She was one of two children. 

Lucille enjoyed spending her time gardening, crocheting, cooking, baking, traveling, and truly loved hosting family.  She lived her life with generosity, gratitude and kindness. Lucille was an exemplary mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and human being. 

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Virl McCombs; her brother, Alvin “PeeWee” Hunter; and three young children.  

She is survived by her children, Sharon (Ray) Miller, Linda Hone and partner Bobby Stutzke, William “Bill” Gulledge, Debra Brown, Teena Gulledge, Elizabeth Gulledge, and her sprawling lineage of grandchildren and great grandchildren that she adored and loved. 

 A graveside memorial service for Lucille will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, 11:00 AM at Hunt Cemetery, Kingston, ID.
