Lila Mae (Beck) Dudenhoefer, 89
Lila Mae Dudenhoefer was born on December 12, 1926 in Arthur, North Dakota to Rex and Hazel Beck. Lila was the oldest of two children.

When Lila was a child her family moved to a farm outside of Buffalo, North Dakota where she attended the Buffalo Country School before graduating from Tower City High School in 1945.
Five days after graduation Lila married James W. Faust of Valley City, North Dakota on June 5, 1945.

Lila lived as a farm wife, tending to the farm and the home while raising the first three of their five children. While living in Valley City, Lila worked as a clerk and an accountant for various businesses while raising all five children.
The family moved around within North Dakota, and eventually to Cheyenne, Wyoming, and from there to Littleton, Colorado. Lila and James divorced in 1969.

Lila met and married the love her life, David Dudenhoefer on April 4, 1970 in Wantagh, New York  and combined their two families which led to a household of ten children.
Lila and David resided in New York for a decade before moving back to Littleton, and then eventually Fort Worth, Texas in 1990. While living in Texas they were involved with Creation Research Institute in Glen Rose, Texas.
Lila was always stressing the importance of the foundation of God’s creation.
Lila and David moved back to Littleton in 2005 where they resided until David’s death in July of 2012. After David’s passing Lila moved to Shoshone County where she lived out her final years enjoying her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Lila’s favorite thing was having lunch out after church with her family where she would proudly tell everyone that she had started all of this love and commotion that was coming from around the table and that there were five generations present.

Lila is preceded in death by her husband, David Dudenhoefer, her parents, Rex and Hazel Beck, her brother, Rex Beck Jr., her daughter, Judith Welch, her son-in-law, Tom Zjawinski, and her great-great-granddaughter, Mallyn McDonald.
Lila is survived by her children Margaret (Doug) Beeler of Pinehurst, Candis (Mark) Kloverstrom of Littleton, Co., Steven (Norma) Faust of Phoenix, Az., Patty Faust of Aurora, Co.
Her grandchildren Barbara (George) Lyle of Pocatello, Id., Jennifer (Mike) McDonald of Kellogg, Erik Kloverstrom of Seattle, Wa., and Lori Spect of Aurora, Co.
Ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

There will be a small service for Lila on Wednesday, March 30, at Kellogg Funeral Chapel at 2p.m. Lila’s interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Co. on April 4, 2016, where she will be reunited with her David on their 46th wedding anniversary, just the way the Lila would’ve wanted it.
