Leroy Timm

LeRoy Robert Timm, 89, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away October 2, 2015 at Pacifica Pinehurst. He was born June 12 1926 in Hope, Kansas; LeRoy was the son of Charles and Fannie (Shlesener) Timm.

LeRoy attended schools in Kansas. He moved to the Silver Valley in 1957 from Spokane, Washington. LeRoy married Patricia “Pat” Linney on April 24, 1965 at the United Church of Kellogg. Pat passed away on June 25, 2013.

LeRoy served as a carpenter at the Bunker Hill Mining Company until its closure in 1982. He then owned and operated Timm’s Shoe Repair Shop from 1983 - 1992, when he retired and sold his shop.

LeRoy loved and enjoyed hunting, yard work and fishing especially salmon fishing. He was a true gentleman and very much loved by the staff at Pacifica Pinehurst.

LeRoy is survived by l Brother Harry Timm of Olathe, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his dear friends Jim and Chris Campbell of Kellogg. LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pat, two brothers Laverne and Raymond Timm and one sister Lillian Edwards.

Private Graveside Services will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery of Kellogg, Idaho.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the charity of the Donor’s choice.
