Laura Lee Squire, 84

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Laura Lee Squire, 84, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away December 3, 2019 at the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg.  She was born November 28, 1935 in Huntsville, Alabama; Laura was the daughter of Edwin and Dorothy Hummel.

Laura attended schools in Alabama.  She moved to the Silver Valley in 1990 from Yreka, California.

Laura married Rev. Phil Squire on July 26, 1975 in California; Rev. Squire passed away in 2017.

Laura was a homemaker.  She was also a Certified Nurses Aide and her and Phil owned and operated a home care facility.

Laura was a member of the Silver Valley Worship Center of Smelterville.  In her younger years, she loved and enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycles; she also enjoyed bible studies, gardening and the ocean.

Laura is survived by four children Wendy “Gail” and her husband Rick Rowe of Osburn, Idaho, Forrest Glen Hincke of Pinegrove, California, Monica Robin Hincke of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho and Eli Miles Steadman of Seattle, Washington; six grandchildren Timothy, Cedar, Sierra, Noah, Christopher and Sam; ten great-grandchildren Tommy, Shilo, Shantelle, Tyler, Felicity, Kirra, Drake, Lyric, Sterling and Adeline; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Laura was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rev. Phil Squire and her brother Ed.

Memorial Services are pending and will be announced in the Shoshone News-Press.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Silver Valley Worship Center, P.O. Box 196, Smelterville, Idaho 83868.
