Katherine "Kathy" Ann Flood

Katherine “Kathy” Ann Flood, 82, of Mullan, ID, passed away on June 8, 2023 at her home in Mullan. Kathy was born on January 1, 1941 in Anaconda, MT, a daughter of the late Claud Sink and Dorothy (Moison) Sink.

The family later moved to the Silver Valley where Kathy attended the former Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Wallace, ID. She married Robert “Bob” Flood on July 18, 1959.

Kathy enjoyed bowling, random trips to the casino, and loved making everyone around her laugh.

In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Bob Flood; three sons, Rob, Scott, and Marc Flood; her siblings, George Sink, Laura Herzog, Carolyn Slawson, Ray Sink, Randy Sink, and Margie Lunger; step-mother, Thelma Sink; as well as several grandchildren.

Survivors include four children, Paul Flood, Kevin Flood, Kris Flood, and Tina Peterson; siblings, Mary (Will) White, Beth Corcione, Don Sink, Jack Lunger; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while the final service details have been worked out for our mom, Kathy Sink Flood.

On Sunday, September 24, 2023, 11:00 AM, mass will be said in her honor at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Wallace, ID with a small coffee hour following mass at the church. Afterwards, everyone is invited to Pottsville Park for a potluck in Kathy’s memory.
