Karyn Carey

Beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, Karyn Jean Carey, 47, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away May 10, 2014 at Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho. She was born November 9, 1966 in Chula Vista, California; Karyn was the daughter of Tom and Maggie (Beauregard) Thorton.

Karyn moved to the Silver Valley in May of 2013 from California to be closer to family.

Karyn was an accountant and worked for the Hilton Hotels.

Karyn enjoyed watching NHRA races and was a member of the Purple Reign. She also enjoyed doing crafts and loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.

Karyn is survived by; four children Jonathan Rawlings, Ryan Rawlings, Michael Carey and Nicole Carey. Three grandchildren Hailee, Emilee and Schyler. Two brothers James (Andrea) Thorton and Steven (Sonia) Thorton. She is also survived by her parents Tom and Maggie (Beauregard) Thorton and a grandfather Lloyd Beauregard. Karyn was proceeded in death by her grandmother Ruby Beauregard.

Cremation will take place and private family services will be held.
