Beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend, Kacie Ann Calabretta, of Silverton, ID, passed away August 22, 2015 at Shoshone Medical Center, Kellogg, Idaho. She was born March 21, 1991 in Billings, Montana. Kacie was the daughter of Paul and Jeannie (Priley) Calabretta.
Kacie moved with her family to the Silver Valley in 1996 from Phoenix, Arizona.
Kacie attended Kellogg High School where she played on the volleyball team, basketball team and ran track. She Graduated from Kellogg High School in 2010.
She loved all animals and worked for some time for a Veterinarian clinic. Kacie loved riding horses and playing with her dog Kewena. Kacie once raised a baby cow in her house for some time before the cow got too big and had to live outside. When Kacie wasn’t caring for animals she was taking care of her two daughters Emma and Miyah who she loved unconditionally.
Kacie is survived by her two children, Emma and Miyah Ferguson; her mother Jeannie (Terry Roy) Calabretta of Kellogg, ID; Siblings Kaela (Beth) Bates of Silverton, ID, twin brother Kyle (Jesica) Calabretta of Kellogg, ID, Courtney Heiser of Coeur d‘Alene, ID, Elissa (David) Clapp, Kellogg, ID, Christopher Calabretta of Florida and Kimberley (Kevin) Tyson of Coeur d‘Alene, ID. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles; Mary (Mike) Decker, Toni (Spike) Hill, Gary (Deanna) Priley, Connie Priley and Michael Priley. Kacie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many great friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father Paul Calabretta and her sister Colleen Bowmen.
A celebration of Kacie’s life will take place Thursday, August 27th 2015 at 5:30 P.M. up the river at mile marker 5.5 on the left hand side at the field of dreams.
