Beloved son, brother, father, grandson, nephew and boyfriend, Justen “Joey” Smith, 23, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away February 14, 2015. He was born October 1, 1991 in Everett, Washington; Joey is the son of Donovan Smith and Sherry Siegfried.
Joey has lived in the Silver Valley most of his life. He attended and graduated from the Kellogg High School in 2009. Joey also attended the Swift Driving School and received his commercial drivers license.
Joey had served as a service advisor for Dave Smith Motors and had served as a truck driver for Swift.
Joey loved and enjoyed his family and sharing family jokes; he also loved spending time with his daughter Mia. Joey also enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, video games, cars and driving fast. Joey had a big heart; anyone could talk to Joey and he was helpful to everyone. Joey would brighten up a room, wherever he went. He was very much loved and will be greatly missed.
Joey is survived by his mother Sherry Siegfried of Page-Smelterville, Idaho; his father and step-mother Donovan and Chrissy Smith of Bend, Oregon; his brothers and sisters Jaymee (Kerstin) Shultz of Smelterville, Jasen (Niki) Smith of Osburn, Destiney Smith and CyHante Brewster of Osburn, Anthony Valentine of Bend, Oregon, Cody Smith of Bend, Oregon, Amy Smith of Bend, Oregon, Daniel Brandao of Pinehurst and Kasey Brandao of Pinehurst; his daughter Mia Smith of Pinehurst; his girlfriend Katie Davis of Osburn; Maternal Grandparents Vicky and Bob Dutton of Brookings, Oregon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins including Uncle Matt Dutton of Brookings, Oregon; Paternal Grandparents Connie and Don Teeple of Stanwood, Washington. He was preceded in death by his “Mama Gumbo”- Patricia Brandao.
