Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Judith “Judie” Lena Morin, 71, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away January 22, 2014 at her home of Osburn. She was born July 8, 1942 at Fromberg, Montana; Judie was the daughter of James and Hope (Barrios) Ramirez.

Judie has lived in the Silver Valley all of her life. She attended and graduated from the Wallace High School in 1961.

Judie first married Rod H. Johnson on April 20, 1963 at Wallace and they had three sons Bradley, Tod and Erik; they later divorced. Judie then married Robert H. Morin on August 4, 1989 at Pinehurst, Idaho; Robert preceded her in death on February 24, 2009.

Judie had worked at several banks in the Silver Valley, as well as, several retail stores and for an insurance and tax company. She had also served as a deputy clerk at the Osburn City Hall and the Wallace City Hall. Judie had also served as a beautician.

Judie was a member of the Wallace Lady Elks and a member of a Womens Bowling League. She loved and enjoyed her family, cooking, bowling, gardening, huckleberry picking, attending sporting events and tail-gating parties. Judie also loved shopping and watching QVC.

Judie is survived by three sons Bradley (Diane) Johnson of Moses Lake, Washington, Tod Johnson of Medford, Oregon and Erik Johnson of Wallace; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister Patsy Lemieux of Osburn; one brother John Garfield (Corliss) Ramirez of New Iberia, Louisiana; Judie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Morin, one sister Mary Ann Fenton and one brother James “Bill” Ramirez.

Memorial Services and A Celebration of Judie’s Life will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the United Church of Christ Congregational of Wallace with Rev. Art Fleming officiating. A potluck reception and a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Wallace Elks following services; everyone is welcome.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Shoshone Humane Society, P.O. Box 1005, Kellogg, Idaho 83837 or to the Shoshone County Food Bank, 311 Main Street, Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
