Jude Marlene (Streeter) Christman, 77
Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, step-daughter and friend, Jude Marlene (Streeter) Christman, 77, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away April 13, 2017 at the Schneidmiller House of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was born September 20, 1939 in Wallace, Idaho; Jude was the daughter of Laroy “Babe” and Fern (Emery) Streeter.
Jude has lived in the Silver Valley all of her life. She attended and graduated from the Wallace High School in 1957.
Jude had worked at the McGee Ranger District in earlier days. She had also served as a cocktail waitress at Sweets for her Dad, Babe Streeter. But above all, Jude was a beloved mother.
Jude loved and enjoyed her family, her home town of Wallace, reading, horses and the ocean. She was a woman of faith. Jude was a huge Aerosmith and Steven Tyler fan; she was a member of the Aerosmith Fan Club, had attended many concerts and had met Steven Tyer back stage. Steven Tyler had autographed both of Jude’s arms, of which she later had tattooed.
Jude is survived by one daughter Coleen and Richard Sovenski of Hayden, Idaho; one son Ronnie Gust of Wallace, Idaho; three grandchildren Joseph Hoffer, Ashley Sanders and Lance Gust; her step-mother Doris Streeter of Wallace, Idaho; one brother John Streeter of Wallace, Idaho; one sister Jane Gould of Buckley, Washington; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jude was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Jerry Streeter.
A Celebration of Jude’s Life will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace Elks of Wallace; this will be potluck and everyone is welcome.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN. 38101-9908.
