John ‘Kyle’ Hirsch age 53 of Mullan, Idaho passed away February 7th,2020. He graduated from Kellogg High School class of 1986 where he played football, wrestling, and track. He was a hardworking, passionate life-long underground miner with several jackleg records. He was an avid rock and antique collector. He loved San Francisco 49ers, many outdoor activities like fishing and camping, fireworks, and 80’s Hairband Music.
Kyle loved traveling and taking his children on spontaneous trips to new places. He celebrated every holiday but loved 4th of July and Christmas with the family. Kyle always put on the best BBQ’s and firework shows for the neighborhood. His Christmas décor primarily consisted of his large collection of Santa Clauses and loved finding as many new ones as he could every year.
Kyle was a dedicated family man. He loved spending time with his family and sharing his ice cream with his grandchildren. He spent many nights with is wife and dogs Tucker, Teddy, and Indy watching American Pickers and Gold Rush.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Barbara; Children: Tiffany Williams (Kimber) of Helena Montana, Britany Byer (Jim) of Post Falls, Idaho, Ashley Hirsch of Post Falls, Idaho, Aimee Walsh of Mullan, Idaho, Nicholas Hirsch of Eureka, Nevada, and Jordyn Hirsch of Mullan, Idaho; Grandchildren Jazlyn, Dominik, Finnly, Piper, Reid, Evelyn, and Bennett; Mother: Marlyss of Mesa, Arizona; Siblings: Marla Anson of Pinehurst, Idaho, Darla Ekbom of Mesa, Arizona, Kim Whittenburg of Sacramento, California, Lisa Mathias of Moorhead, North Dakota, Kevin Hirsch (Linda) of Washington, Indiana: John Hirsch of Orem, Utah; Life-long best friend: Guy Ravsten of Hayden, Idaho.
He is preceded in death by his Father: Johann Hirsch; Grandparents: John and Rachel Gerdon Oswald and Anna Waldhuber; Uncle: Gene Gerdon; Sister: Rosie Barker.
