John Lambros, 83, died peacefully in his sleep September 18, 2023 at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg, ID. John grew up on a farm in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his siblings. It was an old-fashioned family farm and they all joined in to do the hard work.
Later in his life, he moved to California and worked for the Rothschilds where he met his future wife, Andrea. Together, they had two children, Jamie and Erick. Later, John had the urge to go back to his roots, so moved with his daughter Jamie to Kingston, ID to start a farming life again.
Since John was also a savvy businessman he got into the timber business and real estate. He was quite successful at both endeavors.
He lived close to the historic Snake Pit restaurant and bar where he made many friends. He was such a part of owners Rosemary and Joe Peak they considered him part of the inventory!
He loved his farm, working with his cattle and horses. John had a guest house that he rented to Andy and Magy who lived there many years and became great friends. They helped each other through good times and some rough ones.
John was proud of his trucks and enjoyed having a beautiful classic boat on Lake Coeur d’Alene where he enjoyed many good times with friends. He also enjoyed hunting with friends and celebrating the good food and company that came with that lifestyle. John was a good friend and would help when folks were in need. His warm personality and good sense of humor will be missed by many.
John is survived by his two children.
