Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and daughter, JoAnn Kinane Corley, 55, of Mullan, Idaho, passed away November 23, 2014 at the Hospice House of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was born January 30, 1959 in Aurora, Illinois; JoAnn was the daughter of Cyril “Cy” and Josephine (Campagna) Kinane.

JoAnn attended and graduated from the West High School of Aurora, Illinois. She then attended and received a degree in mining engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

JoAnn moved to the Silver Valley in 2002 from Maple Valley, Washington. She married Jimmie Corley on August 21, 2004 in Wallace, Idaho.

JoAnn served as a mining engineer. She had worked as a contract employee for the Hecla Mining Company at the Lucky Friday Mine. And most recently, she served as chief engineer for U.S. Silver.

JoAnn was a member and past president of the Certified Mining Engineers, a member and president of the Natural Resources Education Outreach, a member of the St. Rita’s Catholic Church of Kellogg and a member of the St. Rita’s Catholic Daughters.

JoAnn loved and enjoyed her family, running, swimming and scuba diving, bicycling, hiking, camping and hunting. She also enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers.

JoAnn is survived by her beloved husband Jimmie Corley of the family home of Mullan; four daughters Alicia (Dave) Small of Renton, Washington, Jackie Feldman of Washington, D.C., Ericia (Carol) Feldman Coad of Maple Valley, Washington and Shannon Feldman of the U.S. Air Force- Colorado Springs, Colorado; two step-daughters Heather (Nick) Swope of McComb, Illinois and Lauren Corley attending the Eastern Washington University of Cheney, Washington; she is also survived by three grandchildren; her father Cy Kinane of Salt Lake City, Utah; nine brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother.

A Funeral Mass and Services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Rita’s Catholic Church of Kellogg with Father Marcos Sanchez serving as celebrant. A reception/luncheon will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall following services.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 25 Kellogg Ave., Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
