Jerry Lee Weaver, 77
Jerry Lee Weaver of Smelterville, Idaho, passed away April 8, 2016 at his home of Smelterville, Idaho. He was born October 21, 1938 in Des Moines, Iowa. Jerry is the son of Vern and Fay (Davidson) Weaver.
After graduating high school in California Jerry met and married Nancy Hohen on August 15, 1959 in Los Altos, California. They later divorced but remained in contact. While in California Jerry worked for the California Highway State Patrol. He also spent time working as a carpet layer for several years.
In Jerry’s free time he enjoyed being in the outdoors. Jerry was a very dependable guy and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his three children, Sheri Wild of Rathdrum, Idaho, Allan (Dawn) Weaver of Santa Rosa, California and Teri (Lenny) Ellis of Williams, Oregon. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Deseree, Chrystal, Cheri, Mary Ann and Leslie and numerous great-grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents
Cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
