Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Janice Wileen Thompson, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away November 27, 2015 at the Mountain Valley Care and Rehab Center in Kellogg. She was born November 15, 1935 in Veradale, Washington to Ted and Esther (Bashor) Muhs.
Janice attended and graduated from Harrison High School in 1953.
On June 11, 1954 Janice was united in marriage to Frank Thompson in Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho at the home of Anna Edminster. Frank passed away in 2006.
Janice worked as a office manager at Shoshone Medical Center before retiring.
In Janice’s free time she enjoyed quilting and sewing. She also enjoyed listen to music and visiting with her friends at TOPS and being with her family at gatherings.
Janice is survived by her son Barry Thompson of Kooskia, Idaho; her sister Berti (Jim) Arnzen of Harrison, Idaho and her brother Fred (Judy) Muhs of Harrison, Idaho. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank and her son Jeffery.
A celebration of Janice’s life will be held on Tuesday December 1st 2015 at 1:00p.m. at the Harrison Senior Center with Gwen Wadley Officiating.
