James William King, 71

James William King, 71, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away March 2, 2017 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.  He was born December 3, 1945 at the Wardner Hospital of Kellogg; James was the son of James Arthur and Adaline Minevea (Bailey) King.

James has lived in the Silver Valley all of his life.  He attended and graduated from the Kellogg High School in 1964.  James also attended the North Idaho Junior College of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.  He also proudly served in the U.S. Army.

James married Margie Domstad on November 9, 1995 in Wallace, Idaho.

James had worked as a truck driver for the Kellogg Transfer Company, as well as, Zanetti’s Brothers for many years, before his retirement.

James loved and enjoyed his family, gardening, cooking and was a Nascar fan.  He especially enjoyed collecting model trains and had dedicated a special room for his collection.

James is survived by his wife Margie King of the family home of Pinehurst; two children Tanya and Ken Jensen of St. Maries, Idaho and Stacy Corbitt of Kellogg, Idaho; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one sister Nancy Larson of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; one niece and two nephews Angela Boisjolie, Jason Croston and Raymond Larson; two great-nieces Cari Croston and Jaci Boisjolie.  James was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of James Life will be held at the family home on the 4th of July, 2017 (James favorite holiday and time of year).  Details of the Celebration will be announced closer to the date.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to James favorite T.V. channel- Public Broadcasting Service, 2100 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA. 22202.
