Irene Lucille (Rainio) Evans, 69

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Irene Lucille (Rainio) Evans, 69, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away May 15, 2016 at the Pacifica Pinehurst.  She was born April 27, 1947 at the Wardner Hospital of Kellogg; Irene was the daughter of Oiva and Avis (Kerns) Rainio.  Irene grew up on Tamarack Ridge on a dairy/potato farm.

Irene has lived her entire life in the Silver Valley; only spending a short time in Grants, New Mexico.  She married Larry P. Evans on July 18, 1964 at the Hitching Post in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Irene was a stay at home mom, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She especially loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she enjoyed spoiling. In her free time she enjoyed bowling, listening to Elvis Presley and working in her yard planting flowers.

Irene is survived by three children Brenda (John) Lyon of Kellogg, Idaho; Lisa Beeler of Pinehurst, Idaho and John (Lyndia) Evans of Pine Creek; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her sister Helen Blalack of Cataldo, Idaho; her Brother Ray Rainio of Cataldo, Idaho; her sister-in-law Irene (Beach) Evans of Las Vegas, Nevada; her Uncle Richard Kerns of Anchorage, Alaska; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Irene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry, son-in-law Scott Beeler, brother-in-law Richard Evans and her sister-in-law Tana Rainio.

Cremation will be held and private family services will be held at a later date.
