Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and great-great-great grandmother, Ima Jewell Shulze, 89, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away October 22, 2014 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was born March 5, 1925 in Crosbyton, Texas; Ima was the daughter of Robert and Cordia (Cummings) West.
Ima attended schools in Whitefield, Oklahoma. She married Clarence William Shulze on December 23, 1948 in Reno, Nevada. Ima and Clarence moved to the Silver Valley in 1996 from Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.
Ima had served as a supervisor for the Hunts Cannery of Oakdale, California for eighteen years. She had also served in housekeeping at the Kootenai Medical Center of Coeur d’ Alene for two years. Ima had also served as a waitress for various restaurants.
Ima loved and enjoyed her family, cooking- she was a wonderful cook, quilting, crocheting and embroidering. She was very loving and giving and will be very much missed by her family and friends.
Ima is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-five years Clarence Shulze of the family home of Osburn; five children Billy Wayne (Janene) Tackett of Stonewall, Oklahoma, Virginia Montoya of Oakdale, California, Danny Shulze of Stonewall, Oklahoma, Kathy (Thomas) Agee of La Grange, California and Steven Shulze of Renton, Washington; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, thirty-nine great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild; Ima is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, one brother and one granddaughter.
Cremation will be held and A Celebration of Ima’s Life will be held in the Spring in California.
