Beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Illa Marie Curtis of Pinehurst, Idaho, went to rest in the arms of her Lord on December 4, 2014. She was born October 20, 1942 in Derby, Iowa. Illa was the daughter of Paul and Mary (Blizzard) Exley.
Illa moved to the Silver Valley 13 years ago from Texas.
Her greatest love and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Illa loved watching them play, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She also enjoyed reading books. Illa was a devout Christian; “Her Children arise up, and call her blessed” - Proverbs 31:28
Illa is loved and missed, but not forgotten by her husband Donald; son James Blalock and granddaughter Jimi Sue Blalock; son David Blalock and grandchildren Ezekiel, Maryli, and Isaiah Blalock; son Terry (Sharon) Blalock and grandchildren Michael, Jeremiah, Katie and Patricia Blalock; daughter Christy (Tim) Campbell, grandsons Renton Parks and Lucas (Lacey) Parks, granddaughters Katie (Justin) Anderson, Miranda (Dusty) Johnson, Jessica (Jess) Hammeron, and Hope Campbell. Illa also leaves behind 12 beloved great grandchildren and 1 on the way.
