Howard Reasor

Howard Edward Reasor, 69, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away February 13, 2015 at the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho. He was born January 25, 1946 in Caldwell, Idaho.

Howard grew up in Caldwell. He earned a bachelor’s degree in education and later earned a master’s degree in education administration from the Idaho State University.

Howard married Linda Elliott and they raised a son Ryan together.

There are numerous residents of the Silver Valley that remember Mr. Reasor as their Elementary Principal; he had worked for the Wallace School District for nearly thirty years. Many students were thankful that their school experience and learning was a priority for them, not test scores. Howard did his best to maintain a student focused school and support his staffs efforts to make this happen; occasionally pranking a staffer to his delight or busting a gut when paybacks were unveiled.

Howard loved and enjoyed the outdoors- fishing, elk hunting and was an avid bird hunter with a good dog.

Howard is survived by his son Ryan Reasor of Austin, Texas; one sister Marva Wertz of Boise, Idaho; one nephew Brian Wertz and one niece Cindy Wertz. Howard was preceded in death by his parents.
