Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Henry “Hank” Duval Jones, 85, of Wallace, Idaho passed away December 15, 2013 at the Silver Wood Good Samaritan of Silverton, Idaho. He was born December 10, 1928 at Wallace, Idaho; Henry was the son of Orville “Deac” and Jane (Truesdall) Jones.
Hank attended and graduated from the Wallace High School in 1946. He attended college in Fort Collins, Colorado. Hank has lived in the Silver Valley all of his life.
Hank married his high school sweetheart, Freda Grace Gray on November 6, 1949 in Wallace, Idaho.
Hank was co-owner and operator of the Wallace Supply Hardware Store for many years.
Hank was a member of the Lookout Ski Club. He loved and enjoyed his family, skiing, fishing, hunting, camping and his beloved dogs. Hank was a donator of blood for many years for many of those in need.
Hank is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-four years Freda Jones of the family home of Wallace; eight children Karen (Kent) Snow of Twin Falls, Idaho, Rick (Carla) Jones of Springdale, Montana, Cynthia Brackett of Sacramento, California, Steve (Janine) Jones of Oldtown, Idaho, Diana (Jeff) Hosking of Riverton, Wyoming, Robert (Juli Reed) Jones of Wallace, Marta (Jeff) Arthurs of Osburn and Matt (Tammy) Jones of Spokane, Washington; sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother Robert T. (Jean) Jones of Boise, Idaho; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Hank was preceded in death by his parents, one son Greg C. Jones and many of his beloved dogs.
A Celebration of Hank’s Life will be held and announced at a later date. Inurnment will be held at the Nine Mile Cemetery of Wallace.
