Heidi Elizabeth Pennington, 56

Heidi Elizabeth Pennington, 56, of Smelterville, Idaho, passed away peacefully at her home, of which was her greatest wish, on September 24, 2022.  She was born September 6, 1966 in Sacramento, California; Heidi was the daughter of Calvin J. and Patricia A. (Gavigan) McKinney.

Heidi attended schools in California and Idaho.

Heidi married the love of her life, Terry W. Pennington on June 12, 1993 in Pinehurst, Idaho.

Heidi was a homemaker.  She loved her family dearly, gardening, all things nature, rock collecting and her cat- little Gracie.

Heidi is survived by her beloved husband of twenty-nine years, Terry Pennington of the family home of Smelterville; one son Justin A. Pennington of Oregon; her mother Patricia A. Bishop of Hayden Lake, Idaho; one brother Tim McKinney (Melissa) of The Dalles, Oregon; three sisters Teri Bouck (Eric) of Pinehurst, Idaho, Tami Morgan (Drew) of Meridian, Idaho and Teidi Gable of Coeur d’ Alene; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Heidi was preceded in death by her father Calvin McKinney.

We shall miss her infectious laughter, wit and charm.  We will hold her and all of our cherished memories, within our hearts.
