Guy Waters

Guy Francis Waters, 62, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away April 6, 2015 at the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg. He was born January 21, 1953 in Spokane, Washington; Guy was the son of Cornelius and Vivian (Boyles) Waters.

Guy served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1976.

On March 22, 1986, Guy was united in marriage to Sherri Janson in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Guy and Sherri moved to the Silver Valley in 1990 from Post Falls, Idaho. Guy worked as a long haul truck driver and also was a ASE certified mechanic. In his free time, he enjoyed tinkering with cars. He also had a great love for food, old cars, watching classic movies and listening to music. Guy was a social butterfly with a huge sense of humor, who loved spending time talking and telling stories with friends.

Guy is survived by his beloved wife Sherri Waters of the family home of Wallace, Idaho; his father and mother-in-law Doug and Linda Janson of Dalton Gardens, Idaho; a sister-in-law Sharon Janson of Las Vegas, Nevada and a brother-in-law Bart (Stacy) Janson of Hayden, Idaho and their two children Brett and Ryan. Guy is also survived by his two cats Lady Samantha and Scooter Bug. He was preceded in death by his parents Cornelius and Vivian Waters, his dog Billy Joe Wilder McKay and his cat Bobbie.

Cremation was held and private family services will be held at a later date.
