Geraldine “Deena” June Elisoff, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away July 25, 2015 at the Mountain Valley Care and Rehabilitation of Kellogg, Idaho. She was born May 5, 1943 in Wallace, Idaho. Deena was the daughter of Everett and Violet (Monroe) Walker.
Deena was a life-long resident of the Silver Valley. She attended and graduated from the Wallace High School. .
Deena had worked as a CNA for the County Nursing Home and then the Silver Wood Good Samaritan of Silverton for twenty-seven years, before retiring.
In Deena’s free time, she loved and enjoyed being with family and friends and going huckleberry picking. She also liked to roll dice and play video poker machines.
Deena is survived by her six sisters Joann Ross of Smelterville, Idaho, Elenore Pratt of Hayden, Idaho, Violet Carrico of Wallace, Idaho, Beverly Cornell of Boise, Idaho, Kate Stewart of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Donna (Don) Randall of Moab, Utah and one brother Jerry (Linda) Walker of Wallace, Idaho; two step-children, Roger Chavez and Russell (Debbie) Chavez; numerous grandchildren including Rena (Dallas) Connors of Wallace, Idaho. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Gertrude, Lorraine, Marvin, Duane, Norman, Leonard, Harold, Everett, Jr., Bobby and Barbra Jean; three step-children Rena Garitone, Ron Chavez and Bob Chavez; and one niece Kate Rowe.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, July 30th 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg. A potluck reception and a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Brooks of Wallace following services.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 315 W. Mission, Spokane, Washington 99207.
