Gerald Carrothers

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Gerald “Jerry” Lee Carrothers, 66, of Kingston, Idaho, passed away January 26, 2014 at the family home of Kingston. He was born March 17, 1947 in Champaign, Illinois; Jerry was the son of Basil “Jack” and Mary (Wilkens) Carrothers.

Jerry attended and graduated from the Urbana High School of Urbana, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Jerry married Patricia “Pat” Ann McGuire on November 20, 1974 at Springfield, Illinois.

Jerry lived most of his life in Oregon and moved to the Silver Valley in 2011 to be near his grandchildren. He loved and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors, especially with his family which was the focus of his entire life.

Jerry is survived by his wife Pat Carrothers of the family home of Kingston; his son Luke Carrothers of Wrangell, Alaska; his daughter Tarita Harju, husband Seth and children Nolan and Davin of Kingston

Cremation will be held and private family services will be held.
