Gayanne Amy Windedahl-Gilman, 50, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away on November 10, 2021. She was born on March 29, 1971 in Kellogg, Idaho. She was the daughter of George and Nadine (Johnson) Ackerman.

Gayanne grew up in the Silver Valley and attended Kellogg High School, graduating with the Class of 1989. She then went onto further her education at the Idaho State University where she earned her undergraduate degree and then Eastern Washington University where she earned her Master’s in Psychology. She went on to become a counselor from 1998-1999.

Gayanne eventually moved back to the Silver Valley where she decided to raise her children. Gayanne was a proud mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and cherished the moments with them. Gayanne was an avid journalist, reader and enjoyed shopping. She was also an animal lover and rescued many many pets over the years.

Gayanne is survived by her husband Mitch Gilman; mother Nadine Johnson Ackerman; children Faythe Windedahl, Grace Weaser, Jack Fields Jr and Russell Fields; grandchildren Christopher Brown, Ashton Black, Raeghan Howe, Elijah Morris, Paxton Camacho; siblings Jesse Ackerman and Linda Ackerman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Gayanne was preceded in death by her father George Ackerman and siblings Cindy and Jim Ackerman.

Per Gayanne’s request cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.
