Gary Eugene Fuller, 88, of Osburn, ID, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully at his Osburn home surrounded by his family on March 29, 2025. Gary was born on January 31, 1937 in Townsend, Wisconsin, a son of the late George and Dorothy (Zingler) Fuller.

When Gary was a young boy, his family relocated from Wisconsin to Murray, ID where he attended grade school. Because there were no school buses then, Gary would stay in Kingston with his aunt so he could attend junior high school and then would return to Murray on the weekends. He then went to Wallace High School. On June 12, 1959, Gary married the love of his life, Gayle Leah (Caron) Fuller in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Gayle passed away on June 19, 2024, just a few days after celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.

Gary was a truck driver for Zanetti Brothers in Osburn for over 40 years until his retirement. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles, fishing, and going for rides. He and Gayle both enjoyed their trips to casinos. Gary’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Gayle, Gary is preceded in death by a brother, Ron Fuller; and three sisters, Sharon Beehner, Leila Grebil, and Mary Ann Housley.

Gary is survived by his two sons, Gary (Kathy) Fuller of Wallace, ID, and Chris Fuller of Warren, ID; three grandchildren, Caitlin (Alex) Kling of Coeur d’Alene, ID, Lianne (Mike) Hague of Coeur d’Alene, ID, and Marty (Jessica) Gallinger of Rathdrum, ID; four great-grandchildren, Ben, Garrett, Emma, and Owen; a sister, Delores “Sis” Burmeister of Osburn, ID; as well as several nieces and nephews.
