Gail Elizabeth Smith, 61

Gail Elizabeth Smith, 61, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away December 18, 2016 at her home of Kellogg.  She was born August 12, 1955 in Kellogg; Gail was the daughter of Herbert “Tex” and Shirley (Linney) Galbreath.

Gail attended and graduated from the Kellogg High School in 1973.  She so loved her school, her class and her great Kellogg Wildcat spirit was known to all.

Gail had worked as an employee in Colter Bay Village of the Grand Teton National Park.

Gail was a proud member and very involved in the American Legion Auxiliary 8/40; she was also a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Kellogg and a member of the Kellogg Lady Elks #1841.

Gail loved and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping with others in mind- she was very giving, she loved helping with class reunions and was very patriotic.

Gail is survived by Lindsay and Loren Cummings and their children David and Nate Parker of Deer Park, Washington, whom she considered her beloved family; her Aunt Ruth and Uncle Stacy Keith of Anacortes, Washington; her step-sister Jill Galbreath of Kingston, Idaho.  Gail is also survived by several nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and many friends she felt were family.  She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Galbreath in 2013, her brother Michael Smith in 1953 and her father Herbert “Tex” Galbreath.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at the Mountain View Congregational Church of Kellogg, Idaho.  There will be a potluck luncheon following services at the church.  Everyone attending services are encouraged to wear Kellogg Wildcat or patriotic attire- Gail’s favorites.
